Coach Rachael Safirstein is a Westchester County native who later moved to Houston, Texas at age 15. As a youth player for the Katy Hurricanes, Challenge Soccer, and in the South Texas Olympic Developmental Program (ODP), she competed at the state, regional, and national level. At the Club level, Safirstein's Katy Hurricanes won two South Texas State Championships and competed for the Regional Title in Greensboro, South Carolina. She was later recruited by the University of Texas Longhorns. As a junior, Rachael was the first Lady Longhorn named as Soccer America's Player of the Week Team. During her career with the Longhorns – NCAA Division I – the team consistently ranked in the national top twenty-five. While playing, Safirstein was named to the Scholar Athlete Honor Roll.

Rachael Safirstein played and coached throughout North America and Europe. Most recently she led her U12 Briarcliff Killer Bees to their first State Cup Championship in 2005, and a second place finish in the Mid Atlantic Premier Soccer League (MAPS). In addition, Safirstein was the head coach of the Girl U13 NY Rough Riders Super Y League and sent two players to National Camp in Bradenton, Florida. Currently, she has seven players in the New York State Olympic Development Program. In 2002 Safirstein led her Manhattan Sirens to their first State Cup Semifinal, and coached a U18 girl's team to the Quarterfinals of the Dana Cup in Denmark. Safirstein is currently coaching in Westchester and is the founder and President of F.C. Sting, which trains and develops premier soccer players.

Assistant Coach David Kittay joins Rachael on the sidelines after several years as an ardent (and vocal) supporter and assistant trainer for the team. Dave brings a lifetime of competitive athletic experience, as well as knowledge of the game and experience as part of the team's management.
